A couple of weeks after I bought my car I noticed that my dashboard warning lights and LEDs (mileage, tripmeter++) and meters backlighting was randomly flickering. A few days ago both my indicator and hazard lights on my Mondeo mk2 started working only intermittently (with the left side light going before the right side one). Since then, they have stopped working altogether. This affects both the exterior lights themselves and the lights/sound on the dashboard.

32930 posts · Joined 2004. #17 · Mar 2, 2018. It should default to a solid 13.8 with the smart charge unplugged. Fuse F30 (7.5 Amp) if you ever need to disconnect it and not want to unplug. it at the alternator. If it was fluctuating with the smart charge unplugged then the regulator is faulty.

NS lighting problems. This fault only affects the left hand side of the car. My front side light and rear tail lights are not working. The rear tail light problem is in the corner unit and the tailgate unit. All the other lights are working fine. I've swapped over the bulbs from each side ofthe car and its the same problem so the bulbs are good.
