1387 posts · Joined 2007. #3 · Nov 28, 2014. Yes, it does have a filter that is considered "Non serviceable". However, they said the same for the 7th gens and many of us change it all the time. Without looking at an 8th gen trans, it's hard for me to say for sure, but I'm sure someone has attempted this by now.
The 8th gen accords don’t have a lot of issues but the main ones are leaking axle seals, catalytic converters sometimes going out after about 130k miles (and yes I have to buy one for a 2011), sticking calipers, leaking power steering, and vtc actuators going out.
