My 2015 Astra1.6 cdti at 65k now occasionally rattles on initial start-up, only for approx. 1-2 seconds, it sounds just like timing chain rattle, possibly tensioner problem! I've read somewhere on the forum that Vauxhall say "it is a characteristic of that engine", but is this the start of something more serious?? Best part of this - when it happens long enough eventually timing chain will broke some plastic pieces from chain guides, and those pieces eventually will block oil pump intake pipe - reducing oil pressure even more. One of the solutions - just unplug electric connector of oil pressure regulator located on back side of the engine close to oil . 385 300 8 84 206 129 465 100
